Walk Details

A walk up and around the cliffs and foothills of Binevenagh, all within the Binevenagh Area of Outstanding Beauty, with its amazing cliff top views of Lough Foyle, Inishowen, Magilligan and the North Atlantic. The walk explores the foothills, forestland and open pastures as well as a steep ascent to the cliff tops and walk along them with their wonderful views. You may see the gliders from the Ulster Gliding Club, wild goats, Dexter cattle and perhaps some Exmoor ponies.

The walk will includes forest tracks, open grassland with some scrub roses and some quite steep ascents, if wet it can be slippery in parts so wear walking boots or strong shoes.
